A couple of weeks ago myself and several members of the Yorkshire Fly Fishing Tech 9 Crew Rasclarts went off on another Scotland mission. We revisited a scenic loch we’ve been to before which has the added benefits of having a bothy within spitting distance, and big beautiful fish. Well, at least one big beautiful fish.

We had a top class weekend with plenty of booze and banter but not one of us caught a fish. In fact, not one of us even had a bite! The excuse we plucked from our substantial armory of ‘reasons why we blanked again’ this time was the unseasonably cold air temperature.
As is often the case nowadays, I won’t name the loch for obvious reasons but if anyone is desperate to go after reading my posts then drop me an email.
