Grafham?

If I can get my ass into gear on Saturday morning I will hopefully be wetting a line on Grafham reservoir for the first time in about 13 years! I’m in that area for another event but should have a few hours spare. That place used to be a real ball breaker, I fished it 3 or 4 times and landed one fish. Let’s hope I fare better this time. I’ve been advised by a helpful member of flyfishing.co.uk forum that floating line or midge tip with red holo crunchers or rough Hare’s ear on dropper and Tequila Blob Booby on point would be the way forward at this time of year. Also, recommended hotspots were Dam numbers 14-20 and 38-45, Deep Water Point, G-Buoy Point and Marlowe Jetty. Any other suggestions and up-to-date reports most welcome!
