A veritable tying frenzy

Klinks

After struggling to find usable Klinkhammers in my fly box whilst at Scar House I knocked up these bad boys when I got back. The hook I used is the Varivas 2200BL which I think makes a nice profile for this fly. I like tying Klinks but damn those hackles are hard to nail.  It’s really important to get the right length hackle fibres but it also helps to have good quality cock (fnarr fnarr) with lots of fibres along it’s length. The good thing about tying a Klink though is that if you make a good job of it you know that fly will 100% catch you a fish at some point( unless you get it stuck in a tree).
