Fly fishing courses at Prince Henry’s grammar school in Otley

I received an email today informing me of a new fly fishing course running at Prince Henry’s grammar school in Otley this year. Maybe of interest to some of you? I’ve no connection with these courses, or the people who run it, but it’s a local event which surely must be worth a mention!

In brief, the new course teaches Fly Casting for beginners and runs from Wednesday 20th April (7pm – 9pm) for 10 weeks. The teacher, Stephen Cheetham is GAIA qualified. To quote the press release “The course is for absolute beginners and is a great way to learn the basic skills from what tackle to use to knots and flies and includes some practical sessions on the river”
